Peace that Transcends

With all the changes and transition (and yes, stress) that have been swirling around us these last few months...it could be easy to become exhausted, tired and fail to enjoy the journey. It started out all exciting and new and that excitement can grow dim. However, I recently experienced one of those moments in which I feel a sense peace and excitement deep in my heart...it's that peace that only comes from God. Philippians 4:7 talks about it--"and the peace of God that transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." I often experience it only for a moment...but really, that is all I need to know that God is there and He is walking this journey with us. Transcendent peace is a cool thing!
