Window Wednesday...on Thursday

This is a mahogany seed pod.  If you saw us when we visited in 2013, we brought a ton of the seed pod pieces that the kids and I painted and made into Christmas ornaments.  Noah found a seed pod in its entirety and we watched it dry and crack open.  the seeds inside all fit together like a puzzle. It is a rather fascinating thing to see.
